NIX is a queen of the seven seas, the flash of light you see on the oceans waves at dawn is her tail as she returns to the depths of her coral and crystalline world.

She keeps the peace amongst the oceans creatures, keeping them safe from each other and the land dwellers who recklessly and thoughtlessly destroy her home.

She is strong and fearless and has the respect of her kingdom.

NIX is a mixed media painting, with collage elements from my travels, my early art practices, my children’s school work and other ephemera like book pages etc.

NIX also has collage elements – such as the ruffle on her gown.

NIX is on canvas and measures 40cm x 50cm. (Please note: Colour intensity may vary from screen to screen.)
