Have you ever made a pattern reference sheet?
As part of my courses and mixed media classes the first thing I will have my students do is to create a pattern reference sheet.
Having a pattern reference sheet gives you a visual collection of patterns that can be used as inspiration for your doodles and other artworks. So when you’re feeling stuck or in need of ideas, you can refer to your sheet and explore your collection of different patterns to incorporate into your artworks.
It may also spark creativity and provide a starting point for your doodling sessions.
