Adding a art journalling practice to my day has really helped with my creative ebbs and flows, and I find that often paintings I have made in my art journal are begging to be recreated into larger paintings. 

Mademoiselle was one of these paintings. Starting as a quick paint and then graduating to the a larger canvas. She spoke to me so much that I had to put aside the painting I was currently working on to paint her.
