As part of the Handmade Canberra (now Handmade Australia) virtual markets in May I did an hour live paint session on Facebook. 

I started Astra and spent the rest of the weekend finishing her off. She was inspired by a sketch I did in my car while I was waiting for the girls to finish school (And I will definitely share these sketchbooks in the future!) 

I just love this painting – not only because I shared the very early stages with my facebook peeps but because there is something really serene about her!
