CRYSTAL WREATH

It’s been a minute since I shared some new art here on my website – everything in Casa da Mac seems to be moving at light speed. But despite our busy household, I have managed to cling to my new practises of creating art almost every day. If it isn’t a quick journal page (I will write about this practise soon!), it is sketching at night, and painting new stories during the week.

Last year I bought five large round wooden disks from our local hardware shop. At the time I didn’t really have a plan, but I was also slightly enamoured with wreaths, and starting to follow the moon phases.

Earlier this year I found these disks hiding behind some canvases and decided it was time to create something with them.

This first one is called Crystal Wreath…

CRYSTAL WREATH

As the moon grows smaller with each passing night
It’s time to tend to your divine light

She whispers to you to let go of your fears,
let go of your pain and let go of your tears.

She whispers again that I see your truth
trust in me and I’ll be your proof

The seeds of your dreams are already sown
So put on your crown and sit on your throne.

She reminds you that your write your own chart
So embrace your strength and open your heart,

And remember to always tend to your light,
With Love and Gratitude whispered into the night.
