Two years ago, on a chilly May evening, I met up with a group of wonderful women who wanted to invite creativity into their lives.
We laughed, we played, we talked, we created, we smooshed paint and we discovered (and in my case rediscovered) our Creative Squeaks.
During April and May when we were anxious and unsure and locked down and isolated I began to think about that time with those ladies, and how much I missed that weekly catch up and letting loose our creative juices.
Two years ago I was nervous and not 100% sure I should be teaching anything, but these ladies inspired me and while I showed them any one could be creative, they taught me the only thing that really mattered was my desire to share my knowledge and my passion that the everyone can be creative in some fashion.
And in thinking about that passion, I decided recently that I wanted to pay it forward to all of you who over the years have become friends and my biggest cheerleaders by offering the DISCOVERING YOUR CREATIVE SQUEAK workshop to you for free!
Discovering your Creative Squeak is how my journey unfolded. It is how I became an everyday creative and how I embraced my creativity whilst battling my self doubts and fears.
The one thing I remain constant on is that everyone is creative. Everyone can be creative. I believe that if I can do it any one can – I wasn’t blessed with more talent in this area than any of you!
So join me in using this in-between time to celebrate our creative sides (even if you don’t think you have one – I promise you do!)
