So last week I was writing you about the Twelve days of Christmas – a twelve day series of emails about how we at Casa De Mac honour our traditions and have fun during the festy season.
And this year when I was thinking of the traditions I wanted to keep, the ones I wanted to throw out and the new ones I wanted to create, I decided that I wanted to make a few LilliBean Designs Traditions for this time of year.
The Twelve Days of Christmas is definitely one of those traditions another one is making fun little whimsical LilliBean ‘Things’ to decorate your home for Christmas. Things that I have had in my home for years inspired by a crazy handmade Christmas challenge that we did one year! (I don’t know what the hell we were thinking!?!)
So I thought I would make share some of the fun and whimsical creations happening in the LillIBean Designs studio with you today.
THE MAGICAL WEE BEASTIES
These little Christmas Guardians are just adorable! They can be made as a hanging ornament for your tree or just as a little table decoration, and make the perfect little ‘something’ to add to your gifts this year.

Wee Beasties can be custom made – you just need to let me know in the notes at check out if you want a specific hair or dress/ outfit colour. And you can also let me know if you prefer a male or female wee beastie!

MANTLE DECORATIONS
in 2017 we were in the middle of our renovations (lets be honest we are still in the middle of our renovations!) and we had all these 2×4 off cuts from the stud walls. In the middle of the night I thought of making Christmassy Mantle Decorations with them and they were a huge success, so this year I decided to make some more, with a few of them having a little hook, to hang a Santa sack, or as some of my customers have noted, your keys, a handbag or a coat!

DRINK CHARMS
At our Christmas dinners there is always confusion as to who’s drink is who’s. But with these drink charms you don’t have to have that problem! It is easy to remember if you are the Emu or Koala (or even if you are the snitch for those Potter fans out there!) And as an added bonus they are dishwasher safe (you can thank my lazy self for that discovery!!)
Drink charms are available over here and in a packet you will get 5 charms for $20 (a random selection unless otherwise specified at check out.)

OH HO! I have been furiously painting my hand painted decorations which can also be used on gifts as tags!! (like my mum does with them!) Choose a random selection or your shape – each one is unique!
