LILLIBEAN’S MYSTERY BOX OF WHIMSY
When I first made my Pockets of Whimsy (a little lucky dip that I have) and sold them at the markets, people were so excited to open their lucky dips that they would do it straight away. And apart from the anxiety that produced, I began to think about creating a monthly box of mystery and whimsy and how excited some one might be to receive that in the mail.
It would have to be a box that was choc full of LilliBean quirk and fun, one that gives the same joy to open that my Pockets of Whimsy did.
Each month would have to have a different theme, with items from my collections that no one else has access to. That could be customised for a LilliBean Halloween, or a whimsical Christmas.
The packaging would have to be beautiful, each layer holding a new surprise with each element either hand written or wrapped or personalised.
And so I’ve made them.
And the first boxes are ready to be posted on the 15th of this month!
In every Mystery Box of Whimsy will be filled to the brim with.
1 X SURPRISE ORIGINAL PAINTING
(completely original painted especially for you. Paintings will always be approx A6 size)
1 X SPECIAL GIFT FROM THE LATEST LILLIBEAN COLLECTION
(which may include items from my collections such as; the wee beasties, one little word collection, hand painted earrings, words of wisdom, the whimsy journals, etc.)
1 X INSPIRATION CARD FROM THE 52 DAYS COLLECTION
2 X POSTCARDS
1 X STICKERS
1 x ACCESSORY FROM THE RESIN COLLECTION
(which could include items such as a key ring, a set of charms, necklaces, earrings, collectors pins, book marks etc)
and a few other surprises from my studio
I am so excited to send these out into the world, I am busily painting my little paintings for all the orders I have so far because July’s box will be posted out Monday the 15th.

What I didn’t realise when I made them, was that when my beautiful customers were super excited and wanted to open them straight away, I would have an instant rush of anxiety and panic.
So much so that I had to ask people to open it around the corner out of my sight! 🤣🤣
In my head I would think, “That is so awesome that they are so excited! Would the like it? I hope they like it? What if they’re disappointed? OMG what if they hate it? DON’T OPEN THE DAMN ENVELOPE NOW!!”

great conversation starter!!
