I believe 100% that original art should be affordable for everyone, young and old, and that was the motivation behind creating a range of small paintings, that are affordable and could easily be put on a shelf, or hung on a notice board, or next to your computer at work.
In their original form they had a chain and a charm and I called them Hanging Inspirations. These days I call them LilliBean Mini’s and the range from a 10x10cm to 15x20cm canvases and they range in price from $34 to $54 for a mixed media canvas!
They are so affordable that some of my younger clients use their pocket money to add to their collection.
I also decided that LilliBean Mini’s were going to be limited to one collection that would only have 15 paintings added to it each year.
However last year I had my exhibition at the Japanese Gardens and I also had Handmade and River and Wren markets to attend, so I painted a few extras.
2018’s LilliBean Mini Collection.
Now that the weather is cooler and the creative juices are flowing again, I am about to start 2019’s LilliBean Mini Collection. And I am sure a familiar character or two will pop up again!
Which is your favourite mini from 2018’s collection? I would love to hear which one captured your attention!
