Art in Motion (Time lapse video!)

I have been working on finding a self care practise that is energising and inspiring and not painting my nails or having my hair cut FFS!

So part of exploring this concept has been to make time in my week to play in my art journal and create and smoosh paint and play. It isn’t a set day every week, it is just the day I wake up and think that today would be a good day to paint. Like it was yesterday! And I have also started videoing the results and sharing them on facebook and insta – be warned though these are very amateurish videos! LOL! So I thought I would share with you yesterdays videos. I decided to do two pages simultaneously  (which I quite often do) because when I am in the zone and I am too impatient to wait for paint to dry! (WHAAAT IMPATIENT? MOI???) This is also one of the projects we will be doing in my first workshop of 2019 next weekend at the Tower, in Cowra, so if you are free I would love you to join us for an amazing day!  Click on the video’s to view my day compressed into less than two minutes and continue to scroll down for the final paintings!  And if you want to get in the mood – I had the Crow soundtrack playing on a loop all day yesterday while painting (I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!)
